Process to Gain Entry


  • All visitors must provide a valid state identification card, driver’s license or a valid U.S. Passport.

  • Visitors under the age of 18 will be issued a 30 day temporary pass with identity and driving privileges verification at the VCC. If a visitor under the age of 18 requires a year long pass their parent, guardian or a sponsor must telephone, email or visit the VCC to authorize the year long pass.
  • All Foreign Nationals visiting on Official Business must be screened and escorted by a government official in accordance with the Army Regulation 380-10 process or be escorted by a Government official if the provisions of AR 380-10 do not apply.
  • Visitors conducting official business must have a government sponsor or point of contact to facilitate access.


  • Visitors must complete an Access Control Records Check Request Form. (To open the file, right click this link and save the file to your PC. When viewing the form in Adobe Acrobat Reader, you may need to click "Enable Features", if prompted. If you have any problems accessing the form, please try this alternative version (non-fillable form)
  • Visitors are encouraged to complete and submit requests at least 72 hours before their visit to reduce waiting time at the Visitor Center.
  • A criminal records check will be conducted on all visitors over the age of 18 not affiliated with the Department of Defense or US Government.
  • Entry will be granted if the individual does not have a criminal history that prevents access.
    Factors that Prevent Access
  • Visitors denied access may file an appeal with the Installation Commander.
  • Once entry is approved, visitors will be issued an installation pass to allow access for one day through one year in duration.
  • Passes must be returned when no longer needed or upon expiration.
  • Background checks are required to be rechecked after one year if the individual needs continued access.
